Yorkshire Motor Show

Pickering Showground will be home to over 500 modified cars on Sunday June 8th. Come and see an array of modified cars, street cars, 50’s style hot rods, yank style low riders , custom vans and club stands at probably the No.1 Modified Car Show in the North. Don’t miss in 2008 the special appearance of  Kayleigh Pearson and the opportunity to be driven round a special rally stage in an actual rally car.

CLUBS FROM AROUND THE NORTH OF ENGLAND WILL BE PRESENT.

SPECIAL APPEARANCES
1. The Russ Swift MINI Display Team.  Appearing inside the Northern Events Arena Russ Swift the man who taught Grannies to do doughnuts on Top Gear will be performing an array of 2 wheeling, Parallel Parking and Reverse Spins.

2. Special Guest Appearance by Kayleigh Pearson (Glamour Model and former FHM High Street Honey winner)

3. Rally Stage – Be driven by a professional driver at high speed around a 1 mile stage – cars include:

• 1 Ford Escort Cosworth 4 wheel drive
• 1 Mitsubishi Evo IV 4 wheel drive
• 1 ford Sierra Sapphire Cosworth 4 wheel drive
• 1 Vauxhall Nova front wheel drive
• 1 Ford Escort Mk2 rear wheel drive

The charge for the above will be around £15-£20 per ride.

An array of trade stands selling an assortment of products for the car enthusiast

COMPETITIONS
Driving competition for all entrants and an inter-club tug-of-war.

 

 

Tickets are priced Adults £6, Under 16s £2, and a Family ticket admitting two adults and up to three children costs £15.
