Bianca Gascoigne & The Flying Gunners

ITV'S LOVE ISLAND WINNER BIANCA GASCOIGNE TO MAKE AN APPEARANCE AT PICKERING
SHOWGROUND'S TRUCKEAST

ENTERTAINMENT and attractions for all the family are on offer at Pickering
Showground's Truckeast next month.
Truckeast on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 September is a must for fans of trucks
and there will be more than 300 custom, working, American and vintage trucks
and mni monster trucks for enthusiasts to cast their eyes over.
But the event is just not about trucks - there are a host of other
attractions to see including truck dealers promoting their vehicles,
specialist trade stands and a craft and fine food tent. Youngsters can test
their skill on the quad bike rides and have fun on the bouncy castle,
climbing wall and fairground and there is a licensed bar and various
catering outlets to recharge while taking in all of the action.
One attraction which is set to wow the crowds are the Royal Artillery Flying
Gunners Motorcycle Display Team.
Speed, excitement, showmanship and professionalism are the hallmarks of the
Flying Gunners who perform breathtaking stunts crossing in mid air just
inches apart at up to 90mph as well as carrying out amazing feats of balance
on their motorcycles including forming a giant pyramid formation.
The grand finale of the show is a spectacular car jump where a daring rider
will ride his machine leaping over at least four cars.
All the riders in the team are fully trained gunners and have appeared on
television shows including the National Lottery Show, Noel Edmond's House
Party, Lenny Henry Show, Blue Peter and the Brian Conley Show.
On Sunday there will also be a guest appearance by Bianca Gascoigne – winner
of ITV1's celebrity reality show Love Island and there will be opportunities
throughout the day for fans to have their picture taken with her.
Winners of classes in Truckeast will be presented with their trophies by
Bianca Gascoigne in an awards ceremony at 4pm on Sunday.
Gates open at 10am and the event is on until 5pm each day
Admission costs £6 adults, £2 under 16s and a family ticket costs £15.
